  <title><![CDATA[ 2020 Summer Institute of American History and Literature]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The 2020 Summer Institute of American History and Literature (July 13-August 7, 2020)</p>

<p>The Summer Institute of American History and Literature is an annual academic summer camp organized by the Tongxin Chinese Academy. The 2020 program will be hosted by the Conference Service Office of Georgia Tech. This program is open to Chinese high school students (15-20 students).</p>

<p>The program is hiring the following positions:</p>

<ul>
	<li>English Tutors: This position teaches English reading and writing related to the SAT test (SAT reading part only). Applicants will develop lesson plans under the direction of program directors.</li>
	<li>U.S. History Tutors: This position teaches contents related to AP U.S. History exams. Applicants will develop lesson plans under the direction of program directors.</li>
	<li>Tutors for both positions are expected to teach 2-3 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Tutors are also expected to do light chaperone duties on campus. The pay is $1,500.</li>
	<li>While the positions are open to all Georgia Tech students, majors in humanities are preferred. While no teaching experience is required, juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred.</li>
	<li>Tutors must be native English speakers and must be eligible to work in the United States.</li>
</ul>
