In the 17th annual Better World MBA Ranking, released by \u003Cem\u003ECorporate Knights\u003C\/em\u003E on November 8, 2019, Scheller College is ranked #3 in the United States and #9 globally.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESince its founding in 2002,\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003ECorporate Knights\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;has ranked the world\u0026rsquo;s MBA programs by how holistically they have integrated sustainability into the learning process. This year, \u003Cem\u003ECorporate Knights\u003C\/em\u003E evaluated 146 business schools around the world, including the 2018 \u003Cem\u003EFinancial Times\u003C\/em\u003E top 100 MBA programs. Programs are evaluated on the basis of faculty research, curriculum, institutes and centers, and faculty diversity.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EScheller College\u0026rsquo;s commitment to sustainability is led by the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.scheller.gatech.edu\/centers-initiatives\/ray-c-anderson-center-for-sustainable-business\/index.html\u0022\u003ERay C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business\u003C\/a\u003E (\u0026ldquo;Center\u0026rdquo;). Beril Toktay, faculty director of the Center, remarked, \u0026ldquo;Our world-class faculty are leading the charge in training students to make the business case for sustainability. Through their research and industry engagement, and by infusing sustainability throughout the Scheller College MBA curriculum, the faculty serve as inspirational role models for tomorrow\u0026rsquo;s leaders.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis year, \u003Cem\u003ECorporate Knights\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;reported a noticeable uptick in published academic research, new academic journals devoted to sustainability, and the number of courses that integrate sustainability topics into their subject material. These developments are indicative of a demand from students to train for meaningful work in the business sector, as well as demand from employers to help solve the pressing social and environmental problems that threaten the future of businesses.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMichael Oxman, managing director of the Center, said, \u0026ldquo;At Scheller College, we prepare our MBA students to be sustainability ambassadors in any business role.
