That\u0026rsquo;s also why she\u0026rsquo;s spending more time than ever wondering about what happens to our atmosphere when a lot of those trees are reduced to ashes during wildfires, which are growing in frequency and intensity.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESince joining Georgia Tech in 2011, Ng has built a formidable research team trying to answer those questions. She has already added considerable insight into what aerosols can do to the environment, winning awards and grants in the process.
