The nominees are evaluated on the\ndepth, impact and novelty of their research. Also of particular interest are\nstrong research contributions made independently from the nominee\u0027s Ph.D.\nadvisor.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EFeamster currently leads the Network Operations and Internet\nSecurity (\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gtnoise.net\/\u0022\u003ENOISE\u003C\/a\u003E) Lab at Georgia Tech. His\nresearch focuses on developing tools, techniques and protocols to improve the\navailability and performance of communications networks.
