  <title><![CDATA[Graduate Workshop with Eric Klinenberg]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Eric Klinenberg, NYU sociologist and author of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/14/books/review/palaces-for-the-people-eric-klinenberg.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/14/books/review/palaces-for-the-people-eric-klinenberg.html"><em>Palaces for the People</em></a>, will host a workshop for Georgia Tech graduate students Monday, Oct. 7 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in Crosland Tower&rsquo;s seventh floor meeting room (room 7130). Dr. Klinenberg, whose research focuses on social capital and public space, will share empirical approaches to exploring issues of public policy, history, economics and community and regional planning. Attendees can expect a lively, interactive experience about the power of public space. To reserve your space for this workshop, please RSVP by Oct. 5th.</p>
