Electrical engineering maintained its fourth place position in the rankings for a fourth consecutive year. Computer engineering moved up a position to fourth place, its highest placement ever, and is tied with Stanford University. In looking at rankings among public universities alone, Tech’s electrical engineering and computer engineering programs both placed second among their respective disciplines.

The College of Engineering tied for fourth with Caltech, and all of the programs offered by the College placed among the top 4 of their respective disciplines.
