Each semester, GTSF allocates more than $20,000 to on-campus organizations. The deadline to apply for funding this year is Friday, Sept. 27.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAfter organizations submit an \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gtsf.gatech.edu\/s\/1481\/alumni\/17\/interior-wide.aspx?sid=1481\u0026amp;gid=42\u0026amp;pgid=9672\u0026amp;cid=20052\u0026amp;ecid=20052\u0026amp;crid=0\u0026amp;calpgid=11230\u0026amp;calcid=24801\u0022\u003Eonline application\u003C\/a\u003E, they must attend a meeting with a GTSF member to receive feedback on their initial submission. They are then given until Wednesday, Oct. 9, to resubmit their application. Approximately 20 organizations will be invited to give a presentation to GTSF\u0026rsquo;s Board of Trustees on Sunday, Oct. 20. Those who are ultimately chosen to receive funding will be notified by Tuesday, Oct. 22.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe maximum amount that an organization can receive is 20% of GTSF\u0026rsquo;s total funds for allocation, likely between $4,000 and $6,000. The only restriction on the funds is that they cannot be used for giveaways, such as free food or T-shirts.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIndividual students can also get involved with the foundation in a number of ways. GTSF has five different \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gtsf.gatech.edu\/s\/1481\/alumni\/17\/interior-wide.aspx?sid=1481\u0026amp;gid=42\u0026amp;pgid=4830\u0022\u003Ecommittees\u003C\/a\u003E composed of Tech students: Allocations, Development, First-Year Leadership Initiative, Investments, and Marketing and Communications.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gtsf.gatech.edu\/s\/1481\/alumni\/17\/interior-wide.aspx?sid=1481\u0026amp;gid=42\u0026amp;pgid=4836\u0022\u003EInvestments Committee\u003C\/a\u003E provides a six-week mentorship program for students who want to learn about finance and investing while simultaneously improving the future of Georgia Tech. Interested students are welcome to attend the program\u0026#39;s first meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Scheller College of Business\u0026nbsp;Room 200.
