625057 event 1566567345 1566567345 <![CDATA[Shaping the Future of Pediatrics]]> As Ospedale Bambino Gesu celebrates their 150th year of working to improve the health and lives of children, they invite innovators from around the world to submit creative and innovative ideas for potentially game-changing innovations to Reduce Anxiety or Pain in Hospital Settings for Children and their Families for the Shaping the Future of Pediatrics Start Up Pitch Competition.

The innovator with the best idea will receive a consultancy contract from Ospedale Bambino Gesu in order to partner with doctors, patients, researchers and hospital staff  to develop and scale their ideas to bring them to market.

WHAT:
Solutions that:
1) reduce anxiety in children and their families while they are in the hospital
or
2) reduce pain in children during hospital procedures.

WHO: Startups that have developed a concept or a prototype which addresses the above challenges.

WHEN: Deadline is September 10th

WHAT NEXT: A jury will select 6 startups that will present their concepts or prototypes during Shaping the Future of Pediatrics on October 4th in Rome.
The winner will be awarded a three-month consultancy contract to co-develop the innovation.
