This annual celebration is sponsored by OMED: Educational Services to recognize the academic excellence achieved by historically underrepresented students (African American, Hispanic, Native American, and Multi-Racial) at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

On this evening, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and corporate supporters come together to celebrate the talents and accomplishments of over 300 students.  Students selected for recognition have achieved and maintained a high level of academic excellence representative of the Georgia Institute of Technology’s vision for Inclusive Excellence.

Members of the OMED: Educational Services staff have supported many of these students throughout the year providing an array of personal and professional academic support, mentoring, summer bridge, and career success support programs. The staff applauds the hard work, dedication and integrity of these students, and is proud to sponsor this Institute celebration of academic excellence.

The event is invitation only and will be held at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Check-in and seating begins at 6:00 pm, and the ceremony will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
