Georgia Tech is adopting Workday Financials to transform the Institute\u0026rsquo;s financial systems with leading cloud-based technology that provides an intuitive, user-friendly, and modern experience. All financial processes from grants, to expenses, to financial accounting will move to the new platform. Workday is accessed via TechWorks by selecting the Workday icon on the \u003Cem\u003EMy Work\u003C\/em\u003E page.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThere are many support and training resources available to campus in order to help with the transition to Workday. These resources are designed to meet the needs of campus users from simple navigation questions, to advanced service requests. Take the time to review these resources.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWorkday Peers: \u003C\/strong\u003EA community of users who are trained in one or two particular business process areas, including expenses, grants, procurement, PCard, or financial accounting. Workday Peers can provide peer support to end users through approximately six months beyond go live. Workday Peers are embedded all across campus and can assist with basic process and navigation questions. Beginning July 1, Workday Peer contact details will be available on \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/transformation.gatech.edu\/financials-launch-resources\u0022\u003Etransformation.gatech.edu\/financials-launch-resources\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EOpen Labs: \u003C\/strong\u003EOpen labs provide space where end users can come in person to get support when completing transactions or working through new tasks in the system. Some labs will focus on particular business processes, while others will be generally focused. Registration is required and will be available on \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/transformation.gatech.edu\/financials-launch-resources\u0022\u003Etransformation.gatech.edu\/financials-launch-resources\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EServiceNow Financials Service Desk: \u003C\/strong\u003EA central hub where end users can access step-by-step instructions (job aids) for specific processes in Workday, review frequently asked questions, call to speak to program representatives who can assist with support, or submit a service ticket for help.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Financials Services page on ServiceNow can be accessed through \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/gatech.service-now.com\/home\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003Eservices.gatech.edu\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E, or \u003Cstrong\u003Ecall 404-385-5555 \u003C\/strong\u003Edirectly.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ERapid Response Alerts: \u003C\/strong\u003EThe program team will utilize emails, memos, and other alerts that will be sent to all campus users when needed.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch5\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EGet Prepared with Workday Training\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/h5\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWorkday Financials training is available to all financial users \u0026ndash; including faculty and researchers. Training will be available for the life of Workday Financials, providing all future new hires as well as current employees the opportunity to review training content at any time.
