Known as the premier computer vision conference, it draws thousands of attendees and papers submitted each year.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis year, Georgia Tech will present 18 papers from 33 different authors. The papers discuss advancements in areas including video analytics, data sets, and evaluation. \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.ic.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003ESchool of Interactive Computing (IC)\u003C\/a\u003E Assistant Professors \u003Cstrong\u003EDhruv Batra \u003C\/strong\u003Eand \u003Cstrong\u003EDevi Parikh \u003C\/strong\u003Eand Professor \u003Cstrong\u003EJames Rehg\u003C\/strong\u003E lead the pack with four accepted papers each.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s involvement continues outside of published research with several faculty members holding conference leadership positions or organizing workshops. IC Professor \u003Cstrong\u003EFrank Dellaert \u003C\/strong\u003Eis the co-organizer of the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/sumochallenge.org\/2019-sumo-workshop.html\u0022\u003E2019 SUMO Challenge Workshop: 360\u0026deg; Indoor Scene Understanding and Modeling\u003C\/a\u003E, and Parikh and Batra are organizing two workshops, \u003Cem\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/visualqa.org\/workshop.html\u0022\u003EVisual Question Answering and Dialog\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/em\u003E and \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/sumochallenge.org\/2019-sumo-workshop.html\u0022\u003E\u003Cem\u003EHabitat: Embodied Agents Challenge and Workshop\u003C\/em\u003E.\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;CVPR is the biggest conference in computer vision and arguably the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.guide2research.com\/topconf\/\u0022\u003Emost impactful conference\u003C\/a\u003E in all of computing. ML@GT has one of the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/csrankings.org\/#\/index?vision\u0022\u003Estrongest computer vision groups in the country\u003C\/a\u003E and it\u0026#39;s exciting to show off our latest research.
