Post cards were affordable mass communication, sent simply and as frequently as a text message today. The animated postcard was unique in that the images \u003Cem\u003Emoved. \u003C\/em\u003EPeople were moving more, traveling more, and as a result, sending cards more.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis exhibition features a variety of postcards that are on the move: tilt them, lift a flap, or pull a tab, and see something new. Assistants were each taught only part of the process, so that they could not go out on their own and compete with the master.
