Each of\nthese proposals are initially reviewed and approved in committee prior to\ndeliberation by the entire Board. Among those decisions include:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022\u0026nbsp;APPROVED: \u003C\/strong\u003EEstablishment of a Master\nof Science in Urban Design in the College of Architecture. In tandem, the\nRegents approved a professional program student tuition rate of $6,313 per\nsemester for in-state students and $15,097 per semester for out-of-state\nstudents this degree program.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022\u0026nbsp;APPROVED:\u003C\/strong\u003E Authorization to change\nthe Bachelor of Science in Management to a Bachelor of Science in Business\nAdministration.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022 APPROVED:\u003C\/strong\u003E Authorization to proceed\nwith replacing the steam and condensate line along Bobby Dodd Way. Existing\nsteam and condensate lines along Bobby Dodd Way, installed in 1928 and 1938,\nconnect to the Holland Building. These lines will be replaced and realigned to\naccommodate other public utilities along Bobby Dodd Way.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022 APPROVED:\u003C\/strong\u003E Authorization to proceed\nwith a football indoor practice facility, funded by the Georgia Tech Athletic\nAssociation.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022\u0026nbsp;APPROVED:\u003C\/strong\u003E Authorization to proceed\nwith an Alexander Memorial Coliseum replacement facility, funded by the Georgia\nTech Athletic Association.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022\u0026nbsp;APPROVED:\u003C\/strong\u003E Naming of the Alexander\nMemorial Replacement Facility the \u201cMcCamish Pavilion\u201d in recognition of Henry\nF. McCamish, Jr., and the McCamish family.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022\u0026nbsp;APPROVED:\u003C\/strong\u003E Naming the southwest\ncorner of the Henry F. McCamish, Jr. Basketball Complex at Fowler and Eighth\nStreets the \u201cAlexander Memorial Courtyard\u201d in recognition of William A.\nAlexander.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022\u0026nbsp;ADOPTED:\u003C\/strong\u003E A new admissions policy\nfor undocumented students. Specifically, Policy 4.1.6 of the Policy\nManual of the Board of Regents states: \u201cA person who is not\nlawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible for admission to\nany University System institution which, for the two most recent academic\nyears, did not admit all academically qualified applicants (except for cases in\nwhich applicants were rejected for non-academic reasons).\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u2022\u0026nbsp;POSTPONED:\u0026nbsp; \u003C\/strong\u003EThe Regents met as a \u201cCommittee of the Whole\u201d to review the\nUniversity of Georgia\u2019s application to expand its engineering degree programs.\nAfter discussion, the Regents elected to postpone a vote on the proposal until\nNovember, when a similar application from Georgia Southern University is on the\nagenda.
