  <title><![CDATA[Dr. Tatiana Kozhanova Speaks at USG Teaching and Learning Conference, April 10-12]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Modern Languages&nbsp;Lecturer of French &amp; Russian, Dr. Tatiana&nbsp;Kozhanova, presented at the&nbsp;USG Teaching and Learning&nbsp;Conference, April 10-12 in Athens, GA. Her presentation, titled &quot;Implementation of New Technologies in the Blended Classroom for Beginner&#39;s French,&quot; discussed&nbsp;different web tools used in the beginner&#39;s French blended classroom (Flipgrid, Padlet, Voicethread, Playposit) and strategies to create an online learning community and collaboration.&nbsp;The intended audience was foreign language instructors teaching online and blended courses at the elementary level.</p>

<p>Dr. Tatiana Kozhanova is a Lecturer of French and Russian in the School of Modern Languages at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She earned her PhD in French Language and Literature and Master&rsquo;s degree in Russian as a Foreign Language from Moscow State University, Russia. Dr.Kozhanova has been teaching Russian and French at Georgia Tech since 2012. Before joining Georgia Tech, she taught French and Russian at the University of California in Santa Barbara, Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University. Dr. Kozhanova specializes in the French literature of the 17<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;century and is a member of North American Society for Interdisciplinary French Seventeenth-Century Studies. She published on&nbsp;<em>L&rsquo;Astr&eacute;e&nbsp;</em>d&rsquo;Honor&eacute; d&rsquo;Urf&eacute;,&nbsp;<em>La Princesse de Cl&egrave;ves&nbsp;</em>de Madame de La Fayette,&nbsp;<em>L&rsquo;Histoire amoureuse des Gaules&nbsp;</em>de Bussy-Rabutin.&nbsp;</p>
