Perhaps surprisingly, those roles and skills focus on the \u0026ldquo;uniquely human\u0026rdquo; rather than the purely technical. According to a 2018 Global Human Capital Trends Report (Deloitte University Press), survey respondents predict tremendous future demand for skills such as complex problem-solving (63 percent), cognitive abilities (55 percent), and social skills (52 percent). * To navigate today\u0026rsquo;s constantly changing work environment and address cross-disciplinary challenges, students will need to be more team-centric, networked, and agile.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Office can assist our students in developing the social skills necessary to be successful at Georgia Tech and beyond.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E* Leading Edge | One-on-One Leadership Coaching\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn One-on-One Leadership Coaching, students are paired with a trained leadership coach to actively explore and improve their individual and team leadership skills through self-evaluation and feedback from others. They will design and conduct leadership experiments that put your new skills into action and grow their leadership capacity. The time commitment is five one-hour sessions throughout the semester. Meeting days\/time are flexible. Encourage your students to foster their personal and professional leadership skills that will apply throughout their education and after graduation.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe application deadline for the fall semester is Tuesday, April 16.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E* Minor in Leadership Studies\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Minor in Leadership Studies is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge of leadership theory, skills, and experience through a rigorous and multi-disciplinary program of study. Students will complete the program by applying their knowledge and skills through a project based experiential learning course.
