The presentation will include background information of the speaker and an overview of two organizations, Arseal Technologies and Eaton Corporation, and positions held over twelve years in this industry.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cstrong\u003EBiographical Sketches of the Speakers: \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nMr. Halig received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2007. He started his professional career at Arseal Technologies in Alpharetta, GA. As a Design Engineer at Arseal, he supported power distribution and automation system solutions for petro-chemical facilities. Design responsibilities included preparing electrical construction drawing packages, programming and commissioning PLCs and HMIs and performing power systems analysis studies.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn July 2010, Mr. Halig joined Eaton\u0026rsquo;s Power Systems Engineering Team in Smyrna, GA. From 2010 through 2015, Mr. Halig performed various power systems analysis studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, harmonics, and switching transient studies. In addition, Mr. Halig continued to support design and power quality field projects. During his time as a PSE, Mr. Halig completed his MBA at Georgia State University in 2013 and became a PSE Team Leader for the NW Zone in 2014. He also obtained his Georgia Professional Engineering License in 2014.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn August 2015, Mr. Halig transitioned to the Service Sales Specialist for the Atlanta Territory. As a S3, he supported life extension and modernization solutions for power distribution equipment and remained in this role for two years. In October of 2017, Mr. Halig transitioned to the Applications Engineer role in the Atlanta Territory. As an AE, he supports the local Eaton sales team, end users and consultant firms with technical product and service questions, product specifications, and applications to optimize power system safety, reliability, and efficiency.
