Natasha Jonoska (South Florida) and Christine Heitsch (Georgia Tech) are giving extended talks in the special session on "Algebraic and Discrete Methods in Mathematical Biology" organized by Carina Curto (Penn State, Katherine Morrison (Northern Colorado), and Nora Youngs (Colby College) in conjunction with Curto's invited plenary talk  titled "Graphs, network motifs, and threshold-linear algebra in the brain."
