Thursday, September 5th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, the School is hosting a cook-out event in the courtyard between Groseclose and the IC. I hope that you all will have an opportunity to join us for lunch, and get to know the ISyE students over hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers. Music will be provided by a student Jazz band called "The Discrete Notoriety Saxophone Quartet".

Members of Alpha Pi Mu and IIE are helping to organize this event. The students are very excited to have this opportunity to interact with their professors. If your schedules permit, I encourage all of you to participate. This will be a great opportunity to meet ISyE students outside of the classroom setting, interact with other faculty and staff members, and meet our young alumni who have organized the Georgia Tech Business Network. GTBN has their first event on 9/24 at GCATT, and these board members are looking forward to talking with you further about this organization.
