This ranking places Georgia Tech in the top 7 percent of colleges ranked worldwide by QS. Since 2015, Georgia Tech has moved up 38 places in the rankings.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EPublished annually since 2004, the QS rankings measure academic institutions on the basis of academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, student-to-faculty ratio, international faculty, and international students.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s strongest rankings indicator was in citations per faculty, where Tech was one of only six universities in the world to receive a perfect score of 100. According to QS, evaluating academic citations is the best understood and most widely accepted measure of research strength for universities..\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn individual subject rankings, Georgia Tech came in at number 14 for engineering and technology, ranking second for any public institution in the United States. Tech also had a strong showing in the statistics and operational research category, ranking seventh worldwide.
