(The season runs now through March 29.)\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EVisit the black box.\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;Did you know that Tech has a student-run theater group? Welcome to \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/dramatech.org\/\u0022\u003EDramaTech Theatre\u003C\/a\u003E, which is a volunteer group of undergraduate and graduate students who work together to put on programming. For example, you can check out a reprise of \u003Cem\u003EA Midsummer Night\u0026rsquo;s Dream\u003C\/em\u003E in April or improv performances, which occur every Friday night that a play is showing. Tickets are $8 for plays and $3 for improv shows.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EDance the night away. \u003C\/strong\u003EIf swing dancing sounds fun, check out one of the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/gtda.gtorg.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech Dance Association\u0026rsquo;s\u003C\/a\u003E monthly dances. The group offers free lessons before the event, and there is a student discount for tickets to the dance. Come by the Student Center Ballroom at 8 p.m. on March 8 to take a lesson\u0026nbsp;and grab a ticket. Or \u0026mdash;\u0026nbsp;if you\u0026rsquo;re feeling confident \u0026mdash;\u0026nbsp;skip the practice and join the dance at 8:30.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ESupport local music. \u003C\/strong\u003ELooking for new musical artists to follow? Check out \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gtmn.org\/underthecouch\/\u0022\u003EUnder the Couch\u0026rsquo;s\u003C\/a\u003E open mic nights every Thursday at 8 p.m.\u0026nbsp;Students can show off any type of performance they like, whether it\u0026rsquo;s acoustic covers, original music, or even a comedy routine.\u0026nbsp;In addition to open mic nights, the venue also hosts events including the Couchella competition in March and the Solo Artist Showcase in April. Both are free to attend. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWaltz away. \u003C\/strong\u003EEven if you have two left feet, don\u0026rsquo;t miss out on the social dances held every Thursday at 9:20 p.m. by the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/ballroomdance.gtorg.gatech.edu\/sociallessons.php\u0022\u003EBallroom Dance Club\u003C\/a\u003E. These dances are held in the Student Center Ballroom, and you can gain access\u0026nbsp;by becoming a member for a\u0026nbsp;$55 fee.\u0026nbsp;Membership also gets you access to\u0026nbsp;weekly lessons and tickets to the club\u0026rsquo;s holiday events.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ECome to a choir concert. \u003C\/strong\u003EThanks to Tech\u0026#39;s two choirs, you have double the chances to listen to a group of beautifully blended voices. The \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/126323.orgsync.com\/org\/chamberchoir\/home\u0022\u003EChamber Choir\u003C\/a\u003E is a group of students who have auditioned and is known for singing classical music. The choir will hold their Spring Pitch-A-Piece concert on March 29 at 7 p.m. in Room 175, West Village. The Tech Chorale is made up of singers from any part of the Tech community and are known for singing a mix of\u0026nbsp;contemporary and classical music.\u0026nbsp;You can catch their next performance on March 10 at 3 p.m. in the Ferst Center\u0026nbsp;and on and April 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 175, West Village.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EUse your discounts. \u003C\/strong\u003EIn addition to the on-campus options, your student status also gets you access to discounts at art spots across Atlanta\u0026nbsp;(think 25 percent\u0026nbsp;off, $5 tickets, and even free admission).\u0026nbsp;When you use the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/arts.gatech.edu\/ticket-buzz\u0022\u003ETech Arts Pass\u003C\/a\u003E program, you can attend shows at venues including Dad\u0026rsquo;s Garage Improv Theater, the Atlanta Contemporary, and the Atlanta Ballet.
