Self-assessments were officially due in January \u0026mdash; but can still be submitted to managers \u0026mdash; and provide a chance for managers to consider employee feedback before a review conversation takes place. Supervisors should conduct all employee reviews on or before Friday, Feb. 22.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nAll signed evaluation paperwork is due to your department\u0026rsquo;s human resources representative or HR business partner by March 11.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe annual performance review is an important opportunity to set mutual expectations, discuss opportunities, celebrate achievements, and get inspired to make the most of the coming year. Whether it\u0026rsquo;s your assessment or you\u0026rsquo;re delivering the assessment, the goal should be to have a conversation that\u0026rsquo;s as productive and beneficial as possible.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch4\u003EGoal Setting\u003C\/h4\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn addition to wrapping up 2018, a focus for the first quarter of 2019 should be setting measurable goals for the coming year. The assessment conversation can and should also include some discussion regarding the coming year\u0026rsquo;s goals and expectations.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Goal Setting form is not required but can be helpful for setting up goals for the manager and employee in a clear and concise manner.
