This is an excellent opportunity to not only present your own work but also interact with other professionals who are engaging in state-of-the-art research on resilience and social justice, working to help people not only survive but thrive after adversity.  Unlike other conferences, ResilienceCon is unique in that every session is interview-based and provides the opportunity to learn about what goes on behind the scenes of great research, advocacy, and programming!

Life Paths Promising Scholar Award: ResilienceCon are offering four scholarships to current students, post-baccalaureate fellows, and post-doctoral fellows who focus on under-served or marginalized communities.

Both the Promising Scholar and Promising Advocate awards include conference registration and 2 nights’ lodging at the Scarritt-Bennett Center.

Criteria for ResilienceCon 2019 scholarships:

Eligibility for Promising Scholar Awards is limited to current students (Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD students), post-baccalaureate fellows, and post-doctoral fellows whose work focuses on under-served or marginalized communities.

Eligibility for Promising Advocate Awards is as follows: 1) Currently working at a non-profit organization serving people or communities who are historically underserved or have experienced violence, marginalization, or distress, and 2) 7 years or fewer professional experience in the field.

Scholarship winners are expected to attend the entire conference, April 14-16, 2019.
