Heyman Scholarship Recipients","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/econ.gatech.edu\u0022\u003EGeorgia Institute of Technology School of Economics\u003C\/a\u003E graduate student\u0026nbsp;Fernanda Arcaraz\u0026nbsp;and undergraduate student Celine Apollon recently received the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/atlantaeconomicsclub.org\/scholarship\/\u0022\u003EJoseph K Heyman 2019 Scholarship\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;from the Atlanta Economics Club (AEC).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ENamed for the AEC\u0026#39;s founder and\u0026nbsp;first president,\u0026nbsp;the\u0026nbsp;scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate or graduate economics\u0026nbsp;students\u0026nbsp;enrolled at a metro Atlanta college or university. In total, AEC has awarded scholarship winners roughly $26,000 since 1992.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EArcaraz is pursuing an M.S. in Economics. She received her B.S. in Economics and International Affairs from Georgia Tech in May 2018. Upon graduation in May 2019, she will start full-time as a sales operation analyst at \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.ncr.com\/\u0022\u003ENCR Corporation\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EApollon\u0026nbsp;is a third year\u0026nbsp;undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Economics with minors in International Affairs and City Planning. Ranked second in her class, Apollon will travel abroad this academic term to\u0026nbsp;study International Economics and Sociology at \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/en\u0022\u003ESciences Po\u003C\/a\u003E in Paris on an exchange program.
