  <title><![CDATA[What to Do in Atlanta before Super Bowl LIII]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>On Feb. 3, Atlanta will host Super Bowl LIII in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. With thousands of people projected to flood into the city for the chance to witness &mdash; &nbsp;or even simply be near &mdash; such an event, Atlanta and the NFL have put together a series of events that will take place throughout both Midtown and Downtown in the days leading up to football&#39;s biggest&nbsp;game.</p>

<h4><strong>Traffic and Road Closures</strong></h4>

<p>Road closures for Super Bowl LIII began Jan. 21 and will run through Feb. 8. The full list of closures can be found <a href="https://atlsuperbowl53.com/roadclosures/">here</a>. Anyone driving in and around the city should expect increased traffic in the days leading up to and after the game.</p>

<h4><strong>Free Events</strong></h4>

<p><strong>Super Bowl LIVE</strong> (Jan. 26 &ndash; Feb. 2): Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon is a free fan village located in Centennial Olympic Park. The village will have family-friendly activities as well as a concert series produced by Jermaine Dupri, made up of local artists and showcasing the city&rsquo;s unique music scene. The performers on each day vary by genre, and the hours of operation vary by day.</p>

<p>Each day&rsquo;s genre:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Saturday, Jan. 26: Hip Hop</li>
	<li>Sunday, Jan. 27: Country</li>
	<li>Monday, Jan. 28: Hip Hop/R&amp;B</li>
	<li>Thursday, Jan. 31: Country and Rock</li>
	<li>Friday, Feb. 1: Pop and EDM</li>
	<li>Saturday, Feb. 2: Hip Hop</li>
</ul>

<p>A small portion of the Georgia Tech Pep Band will also be performing as a part of Feb. 2 lineup before the pep rallies for each of the competing teams. The performances will take place at noon and 2:15 p.m.</p>

<p><strong>OneAtlanta Resident Pep Rally</strong> (Jan. 28 and 29): The Mayor&rsquo;s OneAtlanta Office will host pep rallies for the city on both Jan. 28 and 29. The rallies are intended to celebrate all of the residents of Atlanta who have helped make it a Super Bowl city, and to inform the public about upcoming events across the city. The rally on Jan. 28 will take place at the Rosel Fann Recreation Center, and the Jan. 29 event will be held at the C.T. Martin Recreation Center.</p>

<h4><strong>Ticketed Events</strong></h4>

<p><strong>Super Bowl Experience Driven by Hyundai</strong> (Jan. 26 &ndash; Feb. 2): This interactive fan event will be held in the Georgia World Congress Center, Building B. Ticket prices are $20 for weekdays and $40 for weekends. Super Bowl Xtra tickets can be purchased for $55 on specific days.</p>

<p><strong>Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade</strong> (Jan. 28): Super Bowl Opening Night is the first chance for both fans and the media to interact with the players, coaches, cheerleaders, and mascots from the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams. The event will be held at State Farm Arena and will feature both autograph sessions and a press conference by each team. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The Rams&rsquo; press conference begins at 7 p.m. and the Patriots will hold theirs at 9 p.m. Tickets are $26.60 plus fees.</p>

<p><strong>Super Bowl Music Fest</strong> (Jan. 31 &ndash; Feb. 2): The Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest is a three-day concert event that will also be held at State Farm Arena. Tickets can be purchased for each individual day. Here&rsquo;s the lineup:</p>

<p><strong>Big Game Brunch</strong> (Feb. 3): The Atlanta Wine Festivals will host the Big Game Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday. The event is 21+ and will be held at the Pinnacle Event Site in Atlantic Station.</p>
