  <title><![CDATA[Goodman Invited to Attend Two Atlanta Conferences ]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Regents Professor&nbsp;<a href="https://inta.gatech.edu/people/person/seymour-e-goodman">Seymour Goodman</a> was an invited attendee at two recent Atlanta conferences: &ldquo;Business Continuity and Resiliency Summit,&rdquo; 10<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;Annual Atlanta Emergency Preparedness Institute, November 15, 2018; and the 10<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;Annual Law Enforcement and Private Sector Business Continuity Summit, &ldquo;Special Event Planning&rdquo; December 7, 2018.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 10<sup>th</sup> Annual Atlanta Emergency Preparedness Institute conference was based on the lessons learned from City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management (DWM) 36-inch pipe leak and public safety plan for the 2019 Super Bowl. The 10<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;Annual Law Enforcement and Private Sector Business Continuity Summit focused on special event planning for major large scale events and their impact on both the private and public sectors.</p>

<p>Public safety, emergency, disaster and terrorism preparedness and response will be part of the INTA 4803/8803 course on &ldquo;Critical Infrastructures&rdquo; that he will be teaching during the Spring 2019 semester.</p>
