Each year on the first Monday in January, we have a \u0026ldquo;day on, not a day off,\u0026rdquo; and partner with programs and community organizations in Atlanta to move closer to King\u0026rsquo;s vision of a \u0026ldquo;beloved community.\u0026rdquo; Limited spaces for Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff are available for participation in the 2019 MLK Day of Service, which we be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Students can register for the following sites: \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/orgsync.com\/168042\/events\/2569923\/occurrences\/6169984\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EWest Atlanta Watershed Alliance\u003C\/a\u003E and \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/orgsync.com\/168042\/events\/2554867\/occurrences\/6165627\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003ETrees Atlanta\u003C\/a\u003E. Stamp\u0026rsquo;s President\u0026rsquo;s Scholars will also be volunteering at Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ECheck-in and breakfast will be served at the Student Center Ballroom beginning at 7:30 a.m. and buses will leave for their respective sites at 8 a.m. Contact Brittny James at bjames44@gatech.edu with any questions or concerns about this year\u0026rsquo;s service program.
