I am a founding board member of TOPC, and follow the founding EiC,\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.cs.cmu.edu\/~gibbons\/\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPhil Gibbons\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E, in this role,\u0026rdquo; said Bader.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBader\u0026rsquo;s term of appointment will formally begin November 1.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBader is also a Fellow of the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/membership\/fellows\/index.html\u0022\u003EIEEE\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;and\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.aaas.org\/fellows\/listing?field_last_name_value=\u0026amp;name_combine=\u0026amp;field_institutional_affiliation_value=\u0026amp;field_address_city=\u0026amp;field_address_administrative_area=All\u0026amp;field_address_country_code=All\u0026amp;field_year_elected=\u0026amp;field_primary_aaas_sectio\u0022\u003EAAAS\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;and advises the White House, most recently on the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.nitrd.gov\/nsci\/\u0022\u003ENational Strategic Computing Initiative\u003C\/a\u003E. \u0026nbsp;He is a leading expert in solving global grand challenges in science, engineering, computing, and data science.
