Abstract:
Graphene has attracted much attention as a potential replacement for Silicon CMOS technology. In this talk, I will review the motivation for interest in graphene as a nanoelectronic material and discuss potential applications of graphene in transistors, interconnects, and sensors. Various methods of producing graphene will be discussed along with recent progress in making large-area sheets.

Biography:
Dr. Raghu Murali is a Senior Research Engineer in the Nanotechnology Research Center. His group is mainly focused on the use of graphene for nanoelectronic applications. He has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and his work has been featured in the press. He is a senior member of the IEEE.
