{"609919":{"#nid":"609919","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Industrial Design Students Will Present at Demo Day","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003ESeveral industrial design students will be among more than 40 CREATE-X Startup Launch teams presenting their products at Demo Day on Thursday, August 23.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis past spring, the School of Industrial Design and CREATE-X expanded and formalized their collaboration.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nThis summer, industrial design students got the opportunity to get experience starting a business in the summer Startup Launch program at CREATE-X.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/create-x.gatech.edu\/1home.html\u0022\u003ECREATE-X\u003C\/a\u003E is an Institute-wide initiative that gives students the skills and knowledge to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. During the summer Launch, students are supported with money and mentoring to fine-tune their business ideas.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe result of this collaboration and summer of work will be presented at Demo Day 2018 at the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.foxtheatre.org\/\u0022\u003EFox Theatre\u003C\/a\u003E in midtown Atlanta.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EVisitors will be able to check out student products and services in fashion, healthcare, and more.
