{"60924":{"#nid":"60924","#data":{"type":"profile","title":"Sallie Hambright","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003ESallie Hambright is a registered architect and a LEED accredited professional.\u0026nbsp; She is a Lecturer in the School of Architecture at Georgia Institute of Technology.\u0026nbsp; Hambright teaches a Graduate Design Studio and a design discourse and analysis seminar called Drawing Canonical Ideas in Architecture.\u0026nbsp; The seminar uses Peter Eisenman\u0027s \u0022Ten Canonical Buildings\u0022 as a framework for learning how to understand and see architecture.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe work both in her office experience and in the class she teaches is committed to a close link between theory and practice.\u0026nbsp; Her seminar and studios attempt to uncover and discover ideas in buildings and environments using an architect\u0027s medium: drawing and modeling.\u0026nbsp; She is interested in drawing\/modeling ideas.\u0026nbsp; She attempts to teach essential skills to becoming an architect: teaching through seeing, drawing what is seen, and writing\/describing what is drawn.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBefore coming to Georgia Institute of Technology, Hambright taught at the Clemson Architecture Center in Charleston, South Carolina.\u0026nbsp; She gained experience at Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Eisenman Architects in New York, where she was project architect for several projects including the Sheikh Zayed National Museum and the Puzzuoli Waterfront Masterplan.\u0026nbsp; She is currently starting her own practice in South Carolina.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EShe received her Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Archtitecture where she received the David M.
