Description of Position: The Press and Communications Office is now accepting
applications for our fall 2018 internship. Applicants are asked to send a cover letter,
resume and two writing samples: one in French and one in English. The cover letter
should address your qualifications for the post. The writing samples can be from a recent
class, student publication or other project.
Internship duties include helping with the morning news roundup, writing articles for the
website, helping with social media, and most importantly, helping the press office
organize and promote France-Atlanta 2018, an event series we put on in partnership with
Georgia Tech each fall in the domains of culture, science, humanitarian affairs and
business.

Industry Area: Diplomacy, Communication, Journalism

Eligibility: The position is open to organized, able communicators with an interest in
international affairs or media. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and iMovie a plus. French
language skills preferred.

Type of job: (Internship, fellowship, etc.) Internship

Compensation: unpaid. Note, should you accept the offer, you are responsible for providing evidence of personal liability insurance coverage as a condition of employment.

Part-time/Full-time: Depends on the availability of the student. Eight to 20 hours a week
preferred. Full-time schedule also possible.
