He will receive this honor at the IEEE SENSORS 2018 Conference to be held October 28-31 in New Delhi, India.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis award is given annually to promote, recognize, and support contributions from young professional members within the fields of interest of the IEEE Sensors Council.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EInan is being honored for his outstanding research, teaching, and service, including his leadership in the fields of wearable and non-invasive sensing of bioacoustics and vibrations, and his pioneering contributions to modern ballistocardiography and joint health monitoring.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EInan is an associate professor in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), where he has been on the faculty since 2013.\u0026nbsp;He is a member of the Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience, and he is a program faculty member for the Interdisciplinary Bioengineering Graduate Program.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EInan\u0026rsquo;s most recent honors include the ONR Young Investigator Award (2018), NSF CAREER Award (2018), ECE Outstanding Junior Faculty Member Award (2018), the Georgia Tech Sigma Xi Young Faculty Award (2017), and the Lockheed Dean\u0026rsquo;s Excellence in Teaching Award (2016).
