His most well-known work, titled simply \u0026ldquo;Compressed Sensing\u0026rdquo;, is reflected in a new generation of MRI scanners now reaching the market. Donoho has been elected a member of the US National Academy of Sciences and a foreign associate of the French Academy of Sciences.
