The challenging situation stems from the imbalance between the insufficient experimental data and the relatively high model complexity. To improve the conditions for parameter estimation, several experimental design and model reduction methods have been developed in order to increase the data or decrease the complexity of the model respectively. Instead of doing extra experiment to obtain more data, the proposed research reduces the redundancy among the data and allows us to estimate more reasonable parameters.
