Four films will be screened that were produced by students in LMC 3258 – Documentary Film Production.

Admission is free. The event is sponsored by COLAB, School of Literature, Media, and Communication, Serve-Learn-Sustain, Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, and Georgia Institute of Technology.

Synopsis:  With an amazing crew of peers, this documentary captures the journey of one young woman daring to interview her mother and her grandmother about sex and the South.

Dope Diana: From Nothing

SynopsisFrom Nothing follows Dope Diana on her journey through Atlanta’s highly competitive Hip-Hop scene.

Scout Set that Fire

Synopsis: Following the death of a GT student named Scout, students share their experiences and demands to help make Georgia Tech more inclusive of LGBTQIA students and offer mental health care that addresses this community’s specific needs.

September 12th 

Synopsis: September 12th follows the visual artist Nabil Mousa, and highlights one of his most famous works, Judgement Day, a collaborative, reflective work with the community about September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks.
