{"604945":{"#nid":"604945","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Roze Daniel recognized as the March 2018 Employee of the Month","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003ERoze Daniel, Dispatcher for Parking \u0026amp; Transportation Services, received the March 2018 Employee of the Month.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWhen the Dispatch Office reorganized, it became a 24\/7 operation and staff sometimes were\/are asked to work additional hours to cover open positions.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;Roze has taken the lead,\u0026rdquo; said Glenn Kurtz, Parking Director. \u0026ldquo;She stepped up on her own.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EShe taught herself how to use the new complicated software and intercom system. And, after learning the new system, she took it upon herself to help train the other staff.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EShe has done all of this and maintains a positive attitude.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;She\u0026rsquo;s received emails from customers thanking her for the way she treated them,\u0026rdquo; Glenn added.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWhen the weather got bad with snow and ice, \u0026ldquo;Roze was one of those people who volunteered to stay and man the phones,\u0026rdquo; said Carlton Morgan, Operations Manager Senior.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn fact, \u0026ldquo;she came in during the inclement weather [when campus was closed],\u0026rdquo; Carlton said. \u0026ldquo;It\u0026rsquo;s very difficult to get her to take time off.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESherry Davidson, Senior Director, Parking \u0026amp; Transportation Services added, \u0026ldquo;We take for granted the services we offer but Roze epitomizes customer service. During the inclement weather, she trained me [on the system].\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EEven with the snow falling outside and the phones ringing inside, \u0026ldquo;she remained calm,\u0026rdquo; Sherry said.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe reorganization process was tedious and \u0026ldquo;it has not been easy,\u0026rdquo; Glenn continued. \u0026ldquo;Roze has done it with grace and pride.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAt Roze\u0026rsquo;s Employee of the Month reception, she looked throughout the room at all the Parking and especially the Dispatch Office employees and said, \u0026ldquo;Thank you, guys. It\u0026rsquo;s about all of us.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;It\u0026rsquo;s easy for me. I just got to work every day.
