Join the Atlanta Chapter of Women In Bio and event partners, \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gabio.org\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EGeorgia Bio\u003C\/a\u003E, the Georgia IP Alliance, and the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gghalliance.org\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EGeorgia Global Health Alliance\u003C\/a\u003E for a tour of the CDC Museum followed by a networking reception.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe CDC Museum tour features the exhibit, Ebola: People + Public Health + Political Will which is an investigation of the historic 2014-16 Ebola Fever Virus epidemic in West Africa, the United States, and around the world.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe museum curator will provide a brief introduction to the exhibit and attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the exhibit at their own pace. Following the self-guided tour, we will enjoy a catered reception to facilitate networking with Ebola deployers and multiple Atlanta-based STEM community partners. Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to hear testimonials from deployers who helped build lab capacity in Sierra Leone and evaluated and assisted in US hospital readiness planning during the Ebola epidemic.
