He is an assistant professor in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWang leads the Georgia Tech Electronics and Micro-System (GEMS) lab, which focuses on innovating integrated circuits and hybrid micro-systems to address future wireless communication, radar, imaging, and health care applications.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe three areas in which Wang will present lectures include:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026bull; Broadband, Linear, and High-Efficiency Mm-Wave Power Amplifiers \u0026ndash; The Unreasonable Quest for \u0026ldquo;Perfect\u0026rdquo; 5G Mm-Wave Power Amplifiers and Some Reasonable Solutions\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026bull; Merging Antenna Designs with Electronic Circuits \u0026ndash; Multi-Feed Antennas Based Mm-Wave Front-Ends in Silicon for On-Antenna Power Combining, Active Load Modulation, and Full Duplex Operations\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026bull; Using Moore\u0026rsquo;s Law to Break Eroom\u0026rsquo;s Law? \u0026ndash; Multimodal CMOS Cellular Interface for High Throughput Drug Screening and New Drug Development\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EA member of the ECE faculty since 2012, Wang holds the Demetrius T. Paris Junior Professorship. Some of his most recent awards include the DARPA Young Faculty Award (2018); IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society Outstanding Young Engineer Award (2017); Georgia Tech Sigma Xi Young Faculty Award (2016); and the NSF CAREER Award, Lockheed Dean\u0026rsquo;s Excellence in Teaching Award, and Georgia Tech ECE Outstanding Junior Faculty Member Award (all received in 2015).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWang is an associate editor of the \u003Cem\u003EIEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters\u003C\/em\u003E and serves as a technical program committee and steering committee member for the top conferences in his field.
