Brown Presents on Grid Integrated Vehicles to Department of Energy Advisory Committee

Marilyn Brown, professor in the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy, presented a subcommittee report on grid integrated vehicles to the Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory committee meeting on Tuesday, February 20, at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Arlington, Virginia.

Brown discussed the work product proposals her committee worked on, the business models for grid integrated vehicles, and the various barriers and challenges facing these vehicles. She concluded her presentation by addressing the next steps for her subcommittee, which includes completing a white paper on this topic for a meeting later this summer.

Recent presentations on grid integrated vehicles by other members were also incorporated into the meeting. Members of the public were invited to attend the Committee proceedings.

The School of Public Policy is a unit of the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
