The former model charged for a range of hours.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EApproved by the University System of Georgia\u0026rsquo;s Board of Regents in January, it marks \u0026ldquo;a significant change that will benefit many students, particularly those who only need to take one class,\u0026rdquo; said\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/summer.gatech.edu\/director-summer-session-initiatives\u0022\u003EDe Morris Walker, director of Summer Session Initiatives\u003C\/a\u003E. \u0026ldquo;This tuition model reduces the per-class cost compared to previous summers, making summer school more accessible.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBeginning this summer, tuition will be charged on a per-hour basis rather than a per-course rate. In the past, Tech students were charged one of two flat rates based on whether they took six or more credit hours, or fewer than six credit hours.
