When confronted with tragedy, a grieving community found relief by creating\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\na painting.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHe came up with the idea for the \u003Cem\u003EMake a Splash\u003C\/em\u003E collaborative art project following the death of Scout Schultz, a Tech student and campus leader. Strickland felt a strong need to do something meaningful for the community that has been central to his life for decades.
