Ross \u003C\/strong\u003Eis a visiting associate professor at Hampshire College in Women\u0026#39;s Studies\u0026nbsp; for the 2017-2018 academic year, teaching \u0026quot;White Supremacy in the Age of Trump.\u0026quot; She was a cofounder and the national coordinator of the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/clpp.hampshire.edu\/leadership-programs\/rrasc\/host-sites\/sistersong-women-color-reproductive-justice-collective\u0022\u003ESisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective\u003C\/a\u003E from 2005 to 2012. The\u0026nbsp;network\u0026nbsp;was founded in 1997 for\u0026nbsp;women of color and allied organizations that organize women of color in the reproductive justice movement. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ERoss is one of the creators of the term \u0026quot;reproductive justice,\u0026quot; coined by African-American women in 1994 after the International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo, Egypt. Robinson\u003C\/strong\u003E is an assistant professor of epidemiology at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her research activities revolve around\u0026nbsp;disparities in breast cancer, development of obesity, epidemiologic methods, and health disparities by gender, race, and ethnicity.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFor example, she studies how and why rates of obesity and cancer differ among racial groups. Why do black American girls have greater obesity risk than black boys?
