{"601749":{"#nid":"601749","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Role of Lignin in Economically and Environmentally Sustainable Biorefineries","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EDr. Scown\u0026rsquo;s Bio:\u0026nbsp;Corinne is an expert in life-cycle assessment and she holds positions at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and UC Berkeley, including the Joint BioEnergy Institute and Energy Biosciences Institute.\u0026nbsp; She has focused on bioenergy over the last ten years, including advanced pathways to bio-based fuels and chemicals, as well as anaerobic digestion for the processing of heterogeneous organic waste. Corinne earned a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in Civil \u0026amp; Environmental Engineering in 2010 with a focus on the water footprint of producing a wide range of transportation fuels, including gasoline, biofuels, and electricity.
