The Office of International Education is hosting information sessions each regular Tuesday of the semester to give students general information about study abroad and to help them get started in selecting a study abroad program. This session will focus on students interested in doing an exchange. Please note that the Academic Year/Fall 2018 exchange deadline is February 1, 2018.

Join the OIE Peer Advisors

Are you interested in helping prospective study abroad students? Then considering applying to be an Office of International Education Peer Advisor. Peer Advisors play a critical role in promoting study abroad to Georgia Tech’s students and gain public speaking, leadership, and creative experience. Peer Advisors will serve for one year fulfilling their duties. These include, but are not limited to, helping OIE at campus events like open houses and the Study Abroad Fair, sharing international experiences with fellow students, interacting with incoming exchange students, and helping to develop marketing materials. International House

I-House is an energetic community full of world cultures, international outreach, foreign affairs, and enthusiastic students committed to how the world works beyond campus.  I-House residents plan and host numerous events related to international outreach, literature, film, cuisine, sports, cultures, and languages.

Interested in learning a bit more and experiencing the community first? The International House has will host an Open House on Thursday, January 25, 7pm-8pm. I-House is located at 733 Techwood Drive (Hayes House/Gray House) on campus!"

OIE Administered Study Abroad Scholarship Deadline

The OIE Administered Scholarship Application is open and accepting applications! The next application deadline is February 15, 2018. Students should apply online as early as possible (think summer 2019) and are not required to have selected a program at the time of application.
