In addition to revamping four existing awards, employees may also nominate themselves or their coworkers for the Spirit of Georgia Tech, Rising Wreck, Creating the Next, and Partnership awards.

All eight awards seek to recognize and reward employees who have consistently demonstrated exceptional work or meaningful contributions to the Institute throughout 2017.

“I’m really excited about the awards this year,” said Candice Bovian, who manages the staff awards. “We listened to our employees and responded by simplifying the process, rewriting the criteria to be more inclusive, and adding new awards that should appeal to everyone.”
