Dr.\u0026nbsp;Jacobs\u0026rsquo; course, African American Rhetorics of Resistance, examines the history of African American activism in literature, music, and art. Students in the course began the semester by reading Rep. Lewis\u0026rsquo; graphic novel\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EMarch: Book 1\u003C\/em\u003E, an exploration of his early life and participation in the Civil Rights Movement. In a private visit, Rep. Lewis fielded questions from students about his graphic novel and his life as an activist and politician.
