{"598779":{"#nid":"598779","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Hunger 101 Simulation","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThis week is Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, an annual opportunity to shine a spotlight on the problems of hunger and homelessness and organize our communities to take action.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech\u0026#39;s Students\u0026#39; Temporary Assistance and Resource (STAR) program is hosting an interactive Hunger 101 Simulation in conjunction with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to raise awareness about the barriers to food security, and the complex consequences food insecurity can have on people\u0026rsquo;s lives.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAs about 1 in 10 students at Georgia Tech experience food insecurity,\u0026nbsp;it is likely that someone you know will have experienced food insecurity and\/or hunger at some point, or will know someone who has.
