Myungje Woo, PhD is a Research Scientist I and Assistant Director of the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development (CQGRD) in the College of Architecture at Georgia Tech. His research and studies have focused on megaregions, transportation and infrastructure plannng, growth management policies, urban sprawl, spatial structure, and regional planning. At CQGRD, he is researching megaregions and transportation planning.

In the Georgia Tech Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development, Woo is researching megaregions and transportation planning using geographic information systems (GIS) and quantitative planning methodologies and writing proposals for research grants. His recent interests are in growth management policies and transportation implications at the megaregion scale and regional growth and disparities. He has published several papers related to megaregions, transportation, and growth management in peer-reviewed journals and book.
