  <body><![CDATA[<p>A new study on the efficacy of Reddit&#39;s banning of&nbsp;a handful of its most hateful and deplorable subreddits shows positive results. The paper, titled <em>You Can&#39;t Stay Here: The Efficacy of Reddit&#39;s 2015 Ban Examined Through Hate Speech</em>, was written by <strong>Eshwar Chandrasekharan</strong>, <strong>Umashanthi Pavalanathan</strong>, <strong>Anirudh Srinivasan</strong>, and <strong>Jacob Eisenstein</strong> from Georgia Tech, <strong>Adam Glynn</strong> from Emory University, and <strong>Eric Gilbert</strong>, current faculty member at the University of Michigan and formerly of Georgia Tech.</p>
