Love, III, is Chairman and CEO of Printpack, a major manufacturer of flexible packaging and specialty rigid packaging for consumer and food products.\u0026nbsp; Founded by his father J. Erskine Love, Jr. in 1956, Printpack is still a privately-held, family-owned business.\u0026nbsp; He joined the family business in 1992 after nine years in investment banking with Robinson-Humphrey in Atlanta.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ELove received his B.S. cum laude from Duke University in 1979 and earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1983.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EActive in professional, civic and social organizations, Love served two terms as Chairman of the Flexible Packaging Association, the industry\u0026rsquo;s major trade association. \u0026nbsp;He currently serves on the Executive Board of The Boy Scouts of America-Atlanta Area Council and previously served on the Board of The Westminster Schools, as well as the Board of Agnes Scott College.\u0026nbsp; He has been an active alum of Duke, serving in various leadership roles in their reunion gift campaigns.\u0026nbsp; He previously served on the Boards of the Piedmont Driving Club, Visiting Nurse Association, The Bridge Family Center, and The Alliance Theatre Company.\u0026nbsp; He is a current member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta, the Piedmont Driving Club, and The Capital City Club.\u0026nbsp; He is also a lifelong member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHe and his wife, Sarah Ellen McIntire, are the parents of four children, all graduates of The Westminster Schools: Erskine (Duke \u0026lsquo;11, Wharton MBA \u0026lsquo;17), Margy (Williams College \u0026lsquo;12), Walter (Wake Forest \u0026lsquo;14), and Frank (US Naval Academy \u0026lsquo;16).\u0026nbsp; Mr. Love enjoys playing tennis and golf and watching lacrosse, diving, and Duke basketball, as well as music, travel and theatre.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ELove will speak at\u0026nbsp;Georgia Tech\u0026#39;s IMPACT Speaker Series\u0026nbsp;on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EAbout the Impact Speaker Series\u003C\/strong\u003E:\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESince 2002, the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.scheller.gatech.edu\/centers-initiatives\/ile\/impact\/index.html\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EIMPACT Speaker Series\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from \u0026quot;building a venture around intellectual capital\u0026quot; to \u0026quot;successful entrepreneurship in large organizations\u0026quot; and \u0026quot;socially responsible leadership\u0026quot;. The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders.
